The Village of Schoharie congratulates Tina Wellman for her sponsorship of a “Little Free Library” at 125 Grand Street in the Village. Begun in 2009, Little Free Libraries are community gathering spots designed to facilitate the free exchange of books and to promote literacy and the love of reading by building free book exchanges.  The Little Free Library in Schoharie is a beautiful wooden box on Grand Street where people can take or leave books for sharing.  It is a great addition to our Village.
