Welcome to the New York State Homes and Community Renewal (HCR) Housing Plan Data Dashboard. As part of the FY23 Enacted Budget, Governor Hochul announced a five-year, $25 billion Housing Plan to create or preserve 100,000 affordable homes statewide, including 10,000 with support services for vulnerable populations, plus the electrification of an additional 50,000 homes. This interactive platform reflects our dedication to transparency and progress in achieving these ambitious goals.

Dashboard Features:
  • Project-Level Insights: Explore detailed information on HCR’s new construction and preservation multifamily developments, including those financed through 4% and 9% Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), bonds, subsidy, and grant awards, those that have been insured by HCR’s Mortgage Insurance Fund, and those that are monitored, regulated, and enhanced by HCR’s Office of Housing Preservation so as to ensure long-term quality and affordability.
  • Geographical Distribution: Visualize the location of various affordable housing initiatives and investments by county, region, and political district. Please note that in order to preserve homeowner privacy and security, specific locations of homes are not displayed.
The dashboard currently reflects data available as of June 30, 2025. The dashboard will be updated periodically when new data become available.
