The Community & Lifestyle stresses the rural nature of Schoharie and our tight-knit community.

A Good Life in a Beautiful Place. The Village of Schoharie’s rural culture creates a slow-pace relaxing atmosphere to live in. Our neighbors are warm, friendly, outgoing, and welcome any and all new residents to our village.
Schoharie is home to three churches:

1. The Schoharie Reformed Church
2. The Schoharie Presbyterian Church
3. Christ the Shepard Lutheran Church

All of these churches are beloved by locals and play in active role in our community.
